Lack of Stimulation
100% of indoor cats sleep most of the day while left alone due to a lack of environmental stimuli.
Passive Technology
40.9% of surveyed respondents are dissatisfied with current pet cameras because of the inability to effectively engage and interact with their cats.
Biological Insights
Cats have a biological drive to chase unpredictably moving light spots (hunting instincts). Also, they are highly sensitive to the blue-violet and yellow-green color spectrums.
Our research revealed a clear market gap in feline environmental enrichment. Owners want more than passive watching. They want to actually play with their cats while away. Projection is ideal for this: it covers a larger play area and can display colors tuned to feline vision. This creates an opportunity to turn one-way watching into active, cross-spatial play.
