Resonant Blooms
Resonant Blooms
In an age of digital interaction, have we lost the emotional depth of physical connection?
Resonant Blooms is a multisensory installation that transforms real flowers into capacitive sensors. Their natural conductivity allows each touch to play the flowers as a living MIDI instrument, triggering electronic pitches through MaxMSP, while TouchDesigner renders audio-reactive ripples of light projected back into the space. By merging the digital and the natural, the work translates every touch into a visible, audible poetic dialogue, restoring sensory weight to a screen-mediated world.
